Description:

Bass Pro Shops, Las Vegas was constructed as a joint venture between Camco Construction, Inc. and Camco Pacific out of Los Angles, CA. This is the flagship store for the outdoor retailer and has the largest fishing and hunting gear selection in the American West. The building features a sloped roof steel structure with site cast concrete tilt-up exterior walls. Major areas of work included an extensive mezzanine with escalator and elevator access, stained concrete floors throughout, deep excavations to accommodate large fish aquariums featuring live mermaids furnished by the adjacent casino, built-in gun shooting range, built-in archery range, golf swing practice and demo facilities, rock climbing walls and full service fishing boat department. The water features in the building are the largest of any Bass Pro in the country and with this being the flagship store, changes to the design were constant.
