Boise Towne Square Mall TRP nears completion

Ocotber 23, 2008

Boise, Idaho- Camco Construction is nearing completion of the Template Renovation Project at Boise Towne Square Mall. The project consisted of removing all ceramic floor and column tiles. It was necessary to perform floor level and grinding services to prepare the existing subfloor for replacement tile with a high gloss finish.

The installation of over 276,000 square feet of new ceramic tile includes a life time warranty for the tile and setting materials. New high efficiency lighting was installed to reduce operating cost and increase the amount of effective lighting throughout the mall. The existing electrical services and data for the interior mall kiosks was completely renovated to provide enhanced services with more flexibility for temporary or permanent retailers. All common areas including the pandeck ceiling and several architectural light fixtures were painted throughout the mall to update the color scheme and accentuate the new tile. All of the acoustic ceiling tiles were also replaced to refresh the interior. The outdated metal handrails were upgraded to a state of the art stainless steel and glass panel system. All of this work was conducted while the mall was fully operational with minimal impact to mall tenants or customers.

To celebrate the extensive renovations, the Mall Management will be hosting a Grand Re-Opening on Saturday October 23, 2008 to show off the new mall. The celebration will include special sales as mall retailers kick off their holiday sales and General Growth Properties, the mall owners are sponsoring drawings and give-a-ways.
