One of the most difficult aspects of the construction industry is budgeting a project accurately. Even more difficult is doing this with minimal or no design drawings. Camco has a proven track record of composing construction budgets early in the design process and staying within those budgets throughout the design and construction process. We go much further than just applying a cost per square foot of building and site to come up with a budget. We perform complete quantity takeoff on all available drawings, apply additional quantities where no design is available based on our past experience, consult with specialty subcontractors where necessary to identify necessary scope and to confirm appropriate unit rate pricing, in order to finally arrive at a complete budget price. Camco utilizes On Screen Takeoff software to aid in the budget process. This allows a complete package to be presented to our clients showing all scope included both in written and graphic format, minimizing instances where scope and quantities included in a budget do not meet the client’s needs.
